Hippotherapy
Hippotherapy is a specialized treatment approach in which occupational, physical, or speech therapists use the movement of the horse as part of a client’s individualized therapy plan. The horse’s natural movement can help improve balance, coordination, strength, sensory processing, communication, and emotional regulation in a dynamic and engaging environment. By combining evidence-based therapy with the unique connection between horse and rider, our program creates meaningful opportunities for growth, confidence, and functional progress for neurodivergent individuals and others with developmental, physical, or neurological challenges.
Payment
Clients are billed by Seattle Therapy Network and Empowering Strides separately.
STN is able to bill most insurance companies for the therapy session. The cost of therapy will depend on your insurance plan.
Clients will be billed $90 per session for the equine benefit through Empowering Strides.
